CSI-FrequencyOccupation
CSI-FrequencyOccupation is an RRC information element of 3GPP TS 38.331 (38331), the 5G NR Radio Resource Control (RRC) protocol.
Definition
The IE CSI-FrequencyOccupation is used to configure the frequency domain occupation of a channel state information measurement resource (e.g. NZP-CSI-RS-Resource , CSI-IM-Resource ).
CSI-FrequencyOccupation ::= SEQUENCE {
startingRB INTEGER (0..maxNrofPhysicalResourceBlocks-1),
nrofRBs INTEGER (24..maxNrofPhysicalResourceBlocksPlus1),

Fields (2)
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| startingRB INTEGER (0..maxNrofPhysicalResourceBlocks-1) | PRB where this CSI resource starts in relation to common resource block #0 (CRB#0) on the common resource block grid. Only multiples of 4 are allowed (0, 4, ...) |
| nrofRBs INTEGER (24..maxNrofPhysicalResourceBlocksPlus1) | Number of PRBs across which this CSI resource spans. Only multiples of 4 are allowed. The smallest configurable number is the minimum of 24 and the width of the associated BWP. If the configured value is larger than the width of the corresponding BWP, the UE shall assume that the actual CSI-RS bandwidth is equal to the width of the BWP. |
