| smtc SSB-MTC · OPTIONAL Need S | The SSB periodicity/offset/duration configuration for the redirected SSB frequency. It is based on timing reference of PCell. If the field is absent, the UE uses the SMTC configured in the measObjectNR having the same SSB frequency and subcarrier spacing. If smtc (without suffix) is provided by an NTN cell for redirection to a frequency configured in SIB19 , the offset (derived from parameter periodicityAndOffset ) is based on the assumption that the gNB-UE propagation delay difference between the serving cell and neighbour cells equals to 0 ms, and UE can adjust the actual offset based on the actual propagation delay difference according to the satellite assistance information provided in SIB19 . If smtc-r19 is configured, the offset (derived from parameter periodicityAndOffset ) is based on the assumption that the propagation delay difference between UE-serving cell at gNB and UE-neighbour cell at gNB equals to 0 ms, and UE can adjust the offset based on the actual propagation delay difference. |
