DownlinkPreemption
DownlinkPreemption is an RRC information element of 3GPP TS 38.331 (38331), the 5G NR Radio Resource Control (RRC) protocol.
Definition
The IE DownlinkPreemption is used to configure the UE to monitor PDCCH for the INT-RNTI (interruption).
DownlinkPreemption ::= SEQUENCE {
int-RNTI RNTI-Value,
timeFrequencySet ENUMERATED {set0, set1},
dci-PayloadSize INTEGER (0..maxINT-DCI-PayloadSize),
int-ConfigurationPerServingCell SEQUENCE (SIZE (1..maxNrofServingCells)) OF INT-ConfigurationPerServingCell,
...
}
Fields (4)
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| int-RNTI RNTI-Value | RNTI used for indication pre-emption in DL (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 10). |
| timeFrequencySet ENUMERATED {set0, set1} | Set selection for DL-preemption indication (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 11.2) The set determines how the UE interprets the DL preemption DCI payload. |
| dci-PayloadSize INTEGER (0..maxINT-DCI-PayloadSize) | Total length of the DCI payload scrambled with INT-RNTI (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 11.2). |
| int-ConfigurationPerServingCell SEQUENCE (SIZE (1..maxNrofServingCells)) OF INT-ConfigurationPerServingCell | Indicates (per serving cell) the position of the 14 bit INT values inside the DCI payload (see TS 38.213 [13], clause 11.2). |
